Buyers

You know that part in The Princess Bride where Vizzini gleefully exclaims, “Ha ha, you fool!  You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!  The first is never get involved in a land war in Asia, but only slightly less well known …” etc., etc.?

That line should never play through your head after you’ve bought a home.

You’ve undoubtedly done enough research by now to know that FINDING a great house in your price range is the easy part (and sometimes not so easy, especially if you — like, say, 98% of the rest of us — are on a budget, and your budget says linoleum and your taste says carrara marble); actually BUYING it is a little more complicated yet.

There’s the process of negotiating with the sellers, then getting a legally i’s-dotted-and-t’s-crossed contract, getting through the inspections and appraisal, coordinating repairs/replacements, going over all the pre-closing documents and issues, getting through closing without losing the feeling in your signing hand*, and finally getting yourself, your people, and your stuff into the actual house at last.

Sound complicated?  It is.  But (you know what’s coming; don’t act surprised) we’re here to help.  Hiring a Realtor can save you money, time, headaches, and legal trouble.

If you’re thinking about finding a new place, give me a call.  I can walk you through the whole process, from figuring out how much you can afford to scheduling the move-in.

*Nothing we can help you with on this one; sorry.  Maybe make a stamp?  But for everything else, we’re your best friend.
